High above Kassel you find the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe. For centuries it was home to the rulers of Hessen-Kassel. The fascinating hillside ensemble showcases arcitectual and landscaping styles of several different periods. With an area of 2,4 km² the man-made landscape is one of Europe's largest mountain parks. On June 2013 the Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe was designated as UNESCO World Heritage site. It's easy to fall in love with the Bergpark.
